Underground Mining Geotechnical Engineer

Are you an Underground Mining Geotechnical engineer looking for an exciting new role in Asia on a FIFO or supported relocation for yourself and family?

I am supporting my client, one of the big players in the mining owner company space, to add a talented Geotechnical engineer to their underground mine team.

Coming with option of a FIFO rotation, or alternatively full relocation support for the candidate and any family members , as well as the medical coverage you would expect from a global company, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to take that next step in their career.

This opportunity will give the right person the chance to bring their existing expertise and build upon it too, as well as sharing their knowledge with the wider team to aid their knowledge and development.

You must have underground mining experience, gained in multiple countries, as we need someone who can bring this knowledge in the field to assist direction on the plans, monitor and evaluate activities in all the areas of ground control and QAQC monitoring to ensure standards are met.

Blockcaving experience a plus but not a deal breaker, and with proven ability dealing with different stakeholders and teams, your technical guidance to others will really help you make a difference to the team, site and wider company.

Rock formation geotechnical experience in seismically mine sites gained at a mining owner company ideal, as would experience in mining in wet rock mass.
