Trading Manager

We are searching for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Global Commodity Trader. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the sourcing and supply of our raw materials, playing a key role in building strong supplier relationships and ensuring efficient logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage plans for raw material needs.
• Create forecasts to inform ordering and inventory management.
• Build relationships with a network of qualified suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for supplier diversification and cost optimization.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure successful supply chain execution.
• Analyze market trends and provide insights for informed decision-making.
• Manage logistics providers and negotiate pricing.
• Track performance against goals and report to senior management.
• Manage international supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement logistics plans.
• Evaluate and select shipment modes.
• Facilitate solutions to complex logistics challenges.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in global supply chain, trading, or procurement.
• Proven track record of driving business transformation and growth.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
• Proactive, self-directed, and well-organized with excellent follow-up skills.
