Role Summary:
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business within Texas. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share within Texas.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities in the material handling, mining, and aggregate industries.
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and identifying up-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with the technical and service teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Conduct site visits and product presentations, showcasing technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of technical sales experience, ideally within the material handling or conveyor industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively.
- Strong technical knowledge of conveyor systems, belts, and related accessories.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within Texas to meet with clients and conduct site visits.
