A prominent building products manufacturer is seeking a Technical Manager to lead its technical operations, ensuring product excellence, compliance, and superior customer support. This role provides the chance to make a significant impact while leading a team of specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business strategies

• Drive technical initiatives and provide strategic oversight across product performance, compliance, and customer support

• Ensure strict adherence to fire safety regulations, Australian Building Codes, and AS/NZS standards across all product lines

• Lead compliance efforts and ensure products meet or exceed Australian standards and local regulatory requirements

• Maintain and enhance product certifications, testing protocols, and regulatory compliance

• Support product and technical system development, collaborating with design and R&D teams

• Oversee the preparation and updating of technical documents and resources

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to support major projects and product launches

• Deliver training to upskill internal teams and clients on product specifications, compliance, and safety

• Utilize CRM platforms to analyze technical queries, customer feedback, and insights

• Ensure building code and fire safety compliance across all products

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field

• Leadership experience in technical operations within manufacturing or construction

• Expertise in compliance frameworks, fire safety regulations, Australian Building Codes, and AS/NZS standards

• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a hands-on approach
