I am currently partnered with a midsize, high growth commercial construction company looking to bring on a Project Manager in a couple of exciting projects they have just signed, starting in the next 6 weeks.

The Senior Superintendent leads the field operations for large and complex construction projects. This role involves managing multiple Superintendents and Foremen, overseeing the full project schedule, and ensuring everything runs smoothly on site. It also includes mentoring other Superintendents and supporting business development efforts.

This position is key to keeping projects on track, maintaining high standards, and building strong project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Lead field teams on major projects.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of Superintendents and Foremen to meet project goals.

Schedule Management

• Take full responsibility for planning and managing construction schedules.
• Ensure all phases of the project stay on time and are well-coordinated.

Multiple Project Oversight

• Manage several active projects at once.
• Maintain quality and consistency across all sites.

Team Mentorship

• Train and support other Superintendents.
• Help team members grow through mentoring and professional development.

Business Development Support

• Represent the company at industry and marketing events.
• Help build client relationships and promote company services.

Certifications and Training

• Stay current with required certifications.
• Continue professional development in safety, quality, and project management.

Strategic Leadership

• Lead teams in solving problems and making key decisions on site.
• Ensure all work meets high standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large construction projects
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
• Deep knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
