Position Overview:

As a Senior Superintendent, you will take charge of all field operations on your assigned project, ensuring that work is performed according to the established plans and specifications. You will supervise the day-to-day activities of carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors, managing the timely delivery of materials, tools, and staff to the job site. Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll ensure the project stays on schedule, adheres to safety standards, and meets quality expectations. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining comprehensive reports, including daily logs, safety documentation, and other required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all on-site field operations, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Oversee and manage subcontractors, carpenters, laborers, and other field personnel.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to the job site.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, and incident reports.
  • Monitor work performance to ensure the project stays on schedule and meets quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating the activities of subcontractors on-site.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (required); 2 years of college education (preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience as a lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail, or building renovation projects.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Proven ability to manage projects up to $50M in value.
  • Experience leading and mentoring less experienced field personnel.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • OSHA Competent Persons Training (preferred).

  • Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Continuous focus on self-improvement and professional growth.
  • Proficiency in using Procore project management software.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proven track record of client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Strong commitment to safety and maintaining an exemplary safety record.
