Our client a leader in the development of cutting-edge solutions for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community are looking for an experienced solutions architect with a background in artificial intelligence/machine learning.

You will be driving the technical vision for pursuits of high profile, AI/ML related opportunities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to stay on top of the latest developments in the areas of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning while defining game changing solutions to problems that have major implications for national security.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather goals and objectives, identify gaps and develop differentiated solutions that solve mission needs
  • Support enterprise-wide growth strategies and initiatives aimed at differentiation of services and delivery, increased competitiveness, and industry thought leadership
  • Research and understand technology trends, particularly in the areas of agile software development, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data analytics, and cloud technologies
  • Support development of functional AI/ML prototype software
  • Develop technical content for proposals, white papers and related materials in support of government solicitations and conferences

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related technical discipline and minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in support of DoD and/or IC customers
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
  • US Person with ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance


Desired Skills:

  • Experience with solutioning and proposal development for government solicitations in one or more of the following technical areas: enterprise software systems, artificial intelligence/machine learning, remote sensing, cloud architectures and systems integration
  • Experience with machine learning and data science tools (Jupyter, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, SageMaker, Apache Spark, large language models)
  • Experience working with technologies such as digital engineering, agile development, DevSecOps, containers, cloud migration, cloud native technologies and cybersecurity
