Who We Are

We are a private-equity-backed owner-operator of strategic interconnection properties, managing a growing portfolio of data centers across multiple metropolitan markets. Our focus is on acquiring and developing network interconnection data centers, including Meet Me Rooms (MMRs) and wholesale data center space, to provide robust, high-quality network connectivity.

Who We Need

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our expanding accounting team, managing a diverse data center portfolio. Responsibilities include GAAP consolidation, technical accounting research, debt compliance reporting, and tax management. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to deliver accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly GAAP consolidations and financial statements

  • Oversee monthly closes for corporate entities, including account reconciliation reviews and variance analysis

  • Conduct technical accounting research and documentation on GAAP issues such as revenue recognition, business combinations, and financing transactions

  • Manage debt compliance reporting for multiple facilities

  • Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance for numerous legal entities

  • Handle quarterly REIT compliance activities for applicable entities

  • Support annual budgeting processes

  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support as needed

  • Develop and enforce internal control policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with external auditors and respond to requests

  • Work closely with the VP, Controller, and other stakeholders to meet department goals

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and active CPA license required

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a Big Four or national accounting firm and in a large, growing real estate environment; experience in data centers or commercial real estate preferred

  • Strong technical GAAP knowledge with expertise in analyzing complex transactions and documenting conclusions

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Effective communicator capable of presenting complex analyses and solutions

  • Detail-oriented with a results-driven approach

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Experience with MRI accounting software preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to ethical conduct and integrity
