Senior Business Development Manager

CSG Talent are currently looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for a Australia's largest manufacturer of Modular buildings. This is a global company with 20,000+ employees with experience in 100 countries and $19B of assets. You will be joining a highly successful division that has seen a 300% growth in the last 2.5 years.

As a Senior BDM you will be responsible for managing one team member with the opportunity to grow and develop a team in the future. Your role will focus on new business, sales, and account development for their major significant tier 1 clients across mining, oil & gas, construction, education, healthcare, government, and commercial sector.

Core responsibilities:

  • Acquire new business from new and existing clients
  • Review and prepare tenders, request forms, and coordinate with clients for project needs
  • Working on large significant projects between $50-$100M
  • Conduct pricing analysis and prepare comprehensive bid packages
  • Prepare proposals and quotations, including modifying and submitting drawings for top clients
  • Research current market and projects to align with customer needs by recommending adjustments to products/services
  • Cultivate strong relationships with team members across various departments by maintaining consistent communication and sharing relevant information

Key requirements:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships Tier 1 clients within mining, oil & gas, & industrial sector
  • Experience of winning, managing, and overseeing bid tenders to the value of $50-$100M
  • Ensure products and services are aligned with clients needs
  • Proven ability to pinpoint and engage key customer segments effectively
