Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective customers within the bakery equipment market.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to requests for quotes, ensuring all necessary information is provided for quick proposal turnaround.
- Collaborate with internal departments to maintain fluid communication and adherence to processes.
- Initiate and manage the invoicing process in a timely and thorough manner.
- Engage with clients post-order to keep them informed of project milestones and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Research and identify potential customers, analyzing the market to determine the value of both existing and prospective clients.
- Expedite the resolution of customer issues and complaints, ensuring a high level of service.
- Compare products and services to competitors to identify a competitive edge and effectively persuade customers.
- Strategically plan and organize personal sales efforts to maximize return on time invested in the assigned territory/segment.
- Assist with equipment installation and commissioning as required, including employee training on newly installed equipment.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions as directed by management.
- Perform any other associated tasks as allocated by the General Manager and Management Team.
Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of the bakery equipment market, including customer needs and products.
- Previous experience as a baker or pastry chef is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and articulate solutions to clients.
- Confidence in developing and presenting proposals.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to manage appointments independently.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage.
- Must possess an unrestricted driver's license.
