With a strong focus on premium cuts, ethical sourcing, and superior customer service, we are looking for a dynamic Business Development/Sales Manager to expand our market reach and drive revenue growth.

Position Summary: The Business Development/Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key customer relationships to drive sales. This role requires a deep understanding of the beef industry, strong sales acumen, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand our customer base and increase revenue.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in wholesale, retail, and foodservice sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitability and long-term partnerships.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and networking functions.

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports on progress and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the beef, meat, or food industry.

  • Strong network within the beef or protein industry, including relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Willingness to travel across the Pacific Northwest as needed.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
