Title: Sales Manager - Canada (Remote)

Reports To: Head of Sales, Americas

This role is for a global packaging and warehouse automation company who is a leading provider of end of line packaging systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of material handling solutions by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional value to customers.

As the Sales Manager, you will lead the sales efforts for packaging automation solutions across Canada. You will work closely with internal teams to qualify leads, develop new business, and ensure a seamless customer experience from initial engagement to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing customers.
  • Utilize CAD software to create compelling layouts and proposals.
  • Collaborate with sales support and applications teams to develop tailored project solutions.
  • Conduct negotiations to close sales within established strategy margins.
  • Independently meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Present confidently to C-suite executives, effectively communicating the benefits of our client's solutions.
  • Manage customer relationships, sales leads, and inquiries while maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of generating leads.
  • Sales Hunter mentality.
  • Secondary Packaging Automation experience within the Food and Beverage manufacturing market.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Valid passport for international travel.
  • Experience in automation projects or internal logistics is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and leverage technical knowledge to promote products and solutions.
