Role Overview: As a Contract Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing and managing research projects within our contract research organisation. Your responsibilities will span project management, vendor coordination, and contract oversight.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management:
    • Identify suitable vendors for research projects.
    • Facilitate the vendor proposal and review process.
    • Collaborate with contract owners to determine vendor and contract needs.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Monitor contracts throughout the development process.
    • Efficiently manage communication and status updates from draft to execution.
    • Ensure vendor deliverables align with contract terms.
  • Financial Reconciliation:
    • Handle financial reconciliations with vendors and sites.
    • Archive executed contracts.
  • Compliance and Tracking:
    • Ensure adherence to corporate contracting policies.
    • Track active contracts, especially expiration dates.
    • Provide 60-day notice for pending expiration's.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Serve as an expert on corporate and business operations contract processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Relevant degree (e.g., Bachelor's or University Degree) in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Education, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Technical, or Architecture.
  • Certifications: Consider certifications such as PMP, PMI, ITIL, CRM, CSM, LEAN, BSC, ACP, CSP, or LOMA.
  • Skills:
    • Robotics, industrial engineering, and operations management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and advanced Excel.
    • Familiarity with MS Project.

  • Handling contract issues and vendor reconciliation.
  • Supporting major transformation programs.
  • Effective stakeholder communication.
  • Identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
