Project Manager - Cement Industry

Based in Pennsylvania OR Texas

CSG Talent are currently looking for an Project Manager for a leading US Construction Materials company. You will be responsible for assisting the new cement plant projects from start to finish.

Core responsibilities:

  • Prepare and evaluate construction bid packages and negotiate contracts along with comparisons and recommendations.
  • Projects ranging up to $50 million in value.
  • Oversee the structural audit program for North American facilities, manage consulting engineers, review audit findings, and propose practical solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Serve as the internal civil/structural engineering expert, developing all related designs with consideration for time, cost, durability, and constructability.
  • Create structural drawings, sketches, and quantity estimates to assist with cost preparation.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Between 5-10 years experience of project management and within construction, civil, or structural engineering.
  • P.E. License preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cement production processes, equipment, and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing & procurements of large projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
