About the Role:
We're looking for a Project Accountant to join our team and support the financial side of our construction projects. You'll handle everything from billing and requisitions to cost analysis and reporting-working closely with project managers and clients to keep things running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare monthly requisitions and payment applications

• Handle invoices and change order logs

• Resolve billing issues with clients and project teams

• Create cash flow and forecast reports for management

• Keep billing files organized and audit-ready

• Analyze job costs and project profitability

• Communicate with internal teams on change orders, closeouts, and job performance

• Prepare certified payroll, insurance, and M/WBE reports

• Review lien waivers, tax forms, and compliance documents

• Support senior accounting staff with various tasks

What You Need:

• 5+ years of construction accounting experience (preferred)

• Knowledge of Viewpoint Vista ERP (a big plus)

• Strong Excel & Microsoft Office skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
