We are working with a global, $multibillion client who design, manufacture and sell an offering of hardware, software, and service to the construction, mining, and heavy industry. Due to growth within the APAC region, they are looking for a Project Account Manager to be based in Karratha, WA.

This Project Account Manager role will report to the Area Sales Manager Australia and be responsible for coordinating efforts of a team of account managers, regional managers, and construction project managers associated with key projects on converting obtained project specifications into sales.

Key functions for this Project Account Manager are:

  • Holding key job site meetings to ensure focus is maintained and to track progress of team efforts on key projects.
  • Tracking sales and action plan progress.
  • Establishing and maintaining high level contacts with buying and non-buying customers.
  • Project managing internal teams to execute account development.
  • Working with the teams to develop an action plan to achieve goals to deeply penetrate the accounts making the client the preferred provider of hardware, software, and services.
  • Performing customer calls as specified in the sales execution policy through pragmatic utilisation of time and territory management systems.
  • Utilising and maintaining the CRM.
  • Communicating and adhering to the health and safety policy, providing a safe and healthy work environment for all team members and visitors.

Essential requirements are:

  • Previous sales experience within the Pilbara region.
  • Working experience in sales engineering.
  • An understanding of construction design, and design software.
