Production Supervisor 2nd shift (Food)

CSG Talent are working with a established client to hire a new production supervisor to play a crucial role in the smooth running from a production/manufacturing perspective. The site is based in Texas & is with a highly regarded food manufacturing business who operate across multiple food categories.

We are seeking individuals with a proven track record at supervisor level within food manufacturing settings. Individuals should have strong leadership & communication skills alongside manufacturing/production expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities of staff, providing instructions and performance feedback to ensure productivity and quality objectives are met.
• Identify & resolve process and equipment issues, maintaining productivity and quality.
• Implement approaches to improve quality and productivity by developing new ideas, improving processes, and planning for upcoming equipment or process changes.
• Communication with employees to promote smooth operations, enhance their understanding of policies & objectives, & to ensure compliance with established production policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven track record at supervisor level within food or beverage manufacturing settings
• Strong communication & leadership skills with a track record of maintaining high quality teams (performance & morale)
• Demonstrable experience relating to productivity & quality output in food settings
• Able to work 2nd shift.
