Production supervisor (2nd shift)

CSG Talent are partnered with a key client within the food manufacturing market who are looking to hire a production supervisor to play a key role in the smooth running of a site, based in Georgia.

The business has a great reputation and highly regarded key customers, working across multiple product focuses. They have a large presence with QSR & retail settings & the site the openings are based at have circa 600 employees & 4 zones.

As the position is crucial to the site, we are able to offer relocation assistance to individuals based further away from the site who could consider relocating closer to be able to take on the position.

Please note that this position will require you to be based onsite in Georgia.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises the daily activities of assigned staff, providing instructions and performance feedback to ensure that productivity and quality objectives are met or exceeded. (55%)
• Identifies and resolves process and equipment problems, using available resources to maintain productivity and quality. (25%)
• Implements approaches to improve quality and productivity by developing new ideas, improving processes, and planning for upcoming equipment or process changes. (10%)
• Routinely informs and communicates with employees to promote smooth operations, enhance their understanding of GSF policies and objectives, and to ensure compliance with established production policies and procedures. (10%)
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Existing experience at production supervisor level within food or beverage manufacturing settings.
• Suitability to work on 2nd shift.
• Excellent leadership & communication skills with a proven track record in relation to team leadership & stability.
• Must be able to be located in Georgia.
• Experience of working on large sites .
