We are currently partnered with an established and ever-growing company with exciting opportunities in the fertilizer market. Already established in 39 countries their mission is to help Canadian farmers improve their production in pursuit of a sustainable and more profitable agriculture. Due to a period of growth they are now looking for a Product Manager, to be based in Manitoba, who will add to their management team.

The Product Manager role will report into the Business Unit Manager and will support the districts throughout Manitoba. It will have a strong focus on the production and delivery of training materials to sales reps and the agricultural community, and the marketing of products to the market. An interest in speciality fertilizer is a bonus but not a necessity.

Product Manager duties include:

• Identifying product training needs across the team and develop and deliver technical training programs accordingly.
• Supporting the design of product marketing and training materials.
• Ensuring the development of the Agronomic Technical Consultants technical sales abilities through field-based interactions.
• Driving relationships with key players in the Canadian agricultural industry through farm-based demonstrations and national and regional industry conferences.
• Analysing regional market trends to discover new opportunities for growth.

The idea candidate will have:

• Academic background in Agronomy.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training programs in the agricultural sector.
• Proven track record of achieving market share growth through product marketing.
• Ability to analyse industry and market trends to determine growth opportunities.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills for team management.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the agriculture industry and emerging innovative solutions to agronomic issues.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is essential.
