Supply Chain Specialist - UAV Systems

Contract to Direct Hire Position (W2/1099 to Salary)

CSG Talent are partnered with a a pioneering company in the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) industry, dedicated to revolutionizing aerial robotics, autonomy software, and command and control systems to enhance digital image acquisition and mapping. The organization specializes in designing and manufacturing custom UAS solutions, including free-flight tandem UAS for high-capacity cargo logistics and tethered UAS capable of indefinite flight durations.

Role:

As a key member of the Purchasing team, you'll play a hands-on role in managing the procurement process across direct, indirect, and overhead categories. You'll ensure materials are sourced and delivered on time, maintain accurate ERP records, and work cross-functionally with departments like Production, Quality, and Accounts Payable. This position is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, ERP experience (ideally ECI-M1), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

• Create and manage purchase orders and daily ERP entries

• Monitor inventory levels and support materials availability

• Communicate daily with suppliers and internal departments to resolve order, delivery, and invoice issues

• Support RFQ processes and compile bid data for procurement decisions

• Assist with supplier management, special projects, and cross-departmental needs

• Ensure procurement processes align with best practices and GMP standards

• Maintain professionalism and strong internal relationships across the business
