Description

Lead in the business unit as a Business Partner of the Plant Manager, seeking to optimize the profitability of the business by triggering actions and influencing decision making to optimize the cost of transformation, reduction of raw material losses, production shrinkage, proper control of warehouses and inventory optimization. This position will be part of the Supply chain finance team working closely with plant operations team, supporting the supply chain team and collaborating with the finance team and cross functional teams of the organization

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the correct use and financial control of the resources allocated for the operation of the business, controlling the Transformation Expense, through the continuous search for opportunities.
  • Monitor the correct use of plant assets and compliance with defined processes, through
  • Perform month end close and reporting for the plant/Business unit.
  • Review of business unit's COGS, providing detail variance analysis to budget, forecast and PY
  • Identify and execute processes to improve profitability and cost saving projects for the plant locations.
  • Partner with corporate accounting to provide all needed information during annual external audit and coordinate all the internal and external audits at the plant locations.
  • Prepare the annual budget for the business unit collaborating with the plant operation team.
  • Evaluate investment and growth projects, from a financial and operational aspect to maximize return on investment capital, improve profitability and operational continuity. Ensure the correct implementation of allocated resources and measurement of investment performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor' Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.
  • 6+ years of accounting and financial analysis, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior role.
  • SAP experience is required.
  • Plant/Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of product costing, standard cost.
  • GAAP & IFRS knowledge
  • Advanced level Excel skills and the ability to handle large cubes of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
