I'm currently partnering with a well-established, rapidly growing janitorial services company based in New Jersey to find a hands-on, bilingual Operations Manager to join their leadership team.

This is a critical, field-oriented role focused on managing staff, driving quality across sites, ensuring service excellence, and supporting continued growth through strong operational oversight.


πŸ” Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations across multiple commercial sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery

  • Supervise, coach, and develop janitorial teams - hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management

  • Implement, execute, and refine operational protocols and safety standards

  • Serve as the key point of contact for client escalations and service reviews

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business objectives and performance metrics

  • Use systems and reporting tools to ensure accountability and transparency

  • Manage after-hours needs and ensure coverage as required


βœ… Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or operations role within the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

  • Strong scheduling, time management, and leadership skills

  • Experience in writing, implementing, and managing SOPs and service protocols

  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal

  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and mobile field software

  • Familiarity with project work such as floor care (stripping/waxing), carpet cleaning, etc.

  • BSCAI certifications and/or franchise experience are a plus
