Position: Full-time, Mid-Senior level
Salary: $150,000 to $180,000 base + Bonus

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled OCI Architect to drive cloud enablement initiatives for a diverse range of clients. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and executing cloud migration strategies, automating cloud workloads, and migrating existing applications to harness the benefits of the cloud. Extensive experience with public cloud environments, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and a strong understanding of virtualized Linux and Windows systems are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Migration Strategy: Develop and implement strategies tailored to customer needs for a seamless cloud transition and optimization.
• Automation and Optimization: Automate cloud workloads and port legacy applications to enhance operational efficiency.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with clients to blueprint workloads, manage migrations, and provide expert guidance.
• Technical Leadership: Apply the latest technologies and best practices to solve complex business and technical problems.
• Roadmap and Architecture: Define cloud services roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, and practices.
• Project Management: Oversee the engagement cycle from pre-sales and design to migration and implementation.
• Collaboration: Work with other architects to integrate cloud services into enterprise architecture.
• Technical Communication: Translate complex concepts into actionable insights for customers.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years in technical roles with a focus on customer-facing engagements.
• Cloud Skills: Ability to quickly acquire and apply multi-cloud skills (OCI, Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM, or KVM) and strong administration skills in Linux and Windows.
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configurations.
• Expertise in OCI: Extensive experience with OCI, including storage, networking, and filesystem layout.
