Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and operational plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to nursery operations.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the nursery's reach and customer base.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role within the landscaping or horticulture industry.
  • Strong knowledge of nursery operations, plant care, and landscaping products.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using business management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in horticulture, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Demands:

The position may require standing, walking, and lifting plants and materials throughout the day. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
