Manufacturing Engineer
Location - USA
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in optimizing production processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Design and implement solutions to enhance yield, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale new products from concept to production.
- Lead equipment installation or modifications, ensuring optimal output and minimal downtime.
- Use data analysis and statistical techniques to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
- Conduct FMEA to reduce risks and enhance process reliability.
- Develop and maintain process control plans, including SPC and in-process monitoring.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with teams to promote Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical).
- 0-6 years of engineering experience (food industry experience a plus).
- Strong understanding or ability to learn food safety regulations and quality systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 5%.
