You will take charge of the maintenance team and ensure all systems, equipment, and facilities function at peak efficiency. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality dairy products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage: Oversee a team of maintenance technicians, providing mentorshipmentorship, direction, and performance evaluations to foster growth and teamwork.
- Plan Maintenance Activities: Develop and execute preventative and corrective maintenance plans to maximizemaximize equipment uptimeuptime and operational efficiency.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Implement safety procedures and compliance with food industry regulations to ensure a secure working environment and adherence to dairy manufacturing standards.
- Problem Solve in Real-Time: Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or facility issues, ensuring minimal disruptions to production.
- Control Budgets and Inventory: Manage maintenance budgets, negotiate with vendors, and maintain inventory for critical parts and supplies.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in maintenance management, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, with expertise in dairy production considered a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and HVACHVAC systems; familiarity with CMMSCMMS software is a plus.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, prioritizeprioritize tasks, and drive results under pressure.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments.
