You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our production equipment, facilities, and utilities are operating at peak efficiency. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime, enhance productivity, and maintain a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Maintenance Operations:
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely and effective maintenance of all bakery equipment.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failure.
- Use predictive maintenance techniques to identify potential issues before they cause disruptions.
Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, ensuring swift repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and manage relationships with suppliers for timely procurement.
Facility Management:
- Ensure the bakery's facilities are well-maintained, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training for maintenance staff and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Monitor and control maintenance expenses to meet budgetary constraints.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest maintenance technologies and best practices to continually improve maintenance operations.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and work orders.
- Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance and present findings to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a bakery or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, proofers, and conveyors.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
