CSG Talent have partnered with a highly regarded food manufacturing business who are looking to appoint maintenance supervisors for first & third shifts to play a key role in the running of their manufacturing site in Georgia.


The business already has excellent customer relationships with further plans for exciting, strategic growth in place. You will play a key role in the business achieving these goals through high quality maintenance supervision at their Georgia site.

You will be responsible for Supervising the day-to-day maintenance activities of the division to ensure that the business and division objectives for efficiency, economy, quality, and productivity are met or exceeded.

Please note, we are able to support individuals wanting to relocate within the US if required.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, coordinates and directs the day-to-day activities of maintenance staff in the division to expedite work order processing, production breakdown response, efficient project completion, and implementation of other maintenance policies and procedures and to ensure work is performed in compliance with established guidelines for safety and productivity.
  • Manages the maintenance programs for production machinery, related equipment, and spare parts inventory to ensure maintenance standards are met, to minimize down-time, and to meet production schedule requirements.
  • Plans and coordinates the activities of external contractors on projects related to equipment maintenance, performance improvement and modifications.
  • Designs or lays out in-house projects with the project engineer to enhance company productivity and reduce down-time.
  • Monitors the budget to ensure that maintenance costs are within plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record within a maintenance supervisor position within a food manufacturing setting with a history of delivering on efficiency, economy, quality, and productivity.
  • Ability to work first or third shift (we are currently hiring for both).
  • Ability to interpret maintenance anomalies or irregularities and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Strong communication, leadership & interpersonal skills.
