This key position will be responsible for reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, and project drawings/details and will effectively communicate with material vendors and suppliers to monitor and maintain cost. This position will also be required to collect material pricing and application instructions from multiple vendors for products required on the job while working closely with project management regarding all aspects of projects costs, quote verification for clients, and creating project specific contract proposals.
Key Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of estimating experience in commercial storefront, curtainwalls, aluminum windows and/or metal wall panels.
• Must have a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent relevant experience.
• Must have the ability to read, interpret and understand architectural drawings and specs.
• Must have demonstrated, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects and client opportunities at one time.
• Must have demonstrated skills in software tools like Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to independently travel to job sites.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
