As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining and expanding our key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the mining and power transmission sectors.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with our product offerings, including sprockets, gears, and other power transmission components.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on account performance to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify potential areas for growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role within the material handling, mining, or power transmission industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of sprockets, gears, and power transmission products.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts and work under pressure.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
