Job Title: Project Engineer - Security Systems Installation
Location: Primarily based in Europe (Extensive Travel Required)

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive, adaptable Project Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless execution of projects by overseeing installations, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects meet our quality standards and design specifications. You'll be joining a team dedicated to excellence in security system installation, with a strong focus on maintaining compliance, quality, and client satisfaction. Given our European client base, this role requires extensive travel within the region, with occasional extended stays on-site as projects require.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Supervision & Compliance: Serve as a key contact for clients, ensuring project specifications are met and installations run smoothly. You'll oversee the workforce and collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure adherence to project timelines, design standards, and safety protocols.
Client Liaison & Communication: Maintain strong, transparent communication with clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any questions or concerns. Ensure all project documentation, including commissioning and completion certificates, is prepared and delivered at handover.
Resource Management & Training: Lead and guide junior engineers, subcontractors, and installation teams. Support team development through mentorship and training, promoting a high standard of work and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Project Coordination: Partner with the Operations and Project Managers to plan, schedule, and execute project phases efficiently. Monitor project profitability and address any issues to maintain project success.
Customer Support: Coordinate with the Service Manager to address service requirements and perform remedial work as needed. Ensure optimal customer invoicing through effective feedback and communication on ongoing projects.
Stock & Equipment Maintenance: Regularly assess and maintain stock levels, keep equipment in top condition, and manage all tools and vehicles in line with company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project engineering or senior installation roles within security systems, electrical installations, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of project management processes, with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- High degree of autonomy, initiative, and flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements or schedules.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe and stay on-site as required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a company vehicle in accordance with operating standards.
