Position Overview

CSG are partnered with a Cardiovascular Med Tech company who are seeking a Head of Technology to join their leadership team in the US. This strategic role combines hands-on technical expertise with visionary leadership, focusing on driving R&D innovation and establishing robust technological frameworks in the medical device space specializing in cardiovascular solutions. The company have a strong focus on R&D and innovation to develop technologies that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of technology initiatives across the division, with a particular focus on R&D capabilities and operational excellence in the medical device sector
  • Drive the development and implementation of foundational technology frameworks that will support the next phase of growth and innovation
  • Build and mentor high-performing technical teams while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
  • Oversee the integration and optimization of healthcare technology systems, including EHR platforms, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Partner with global R&D teams to advance our product development pipeline and accelerate innovation in the medical device space
  • Develop and execute technology roadmaps that align with both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic objectives

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with significant exposure to medical devices and healthcare technology
  • Proven track record of leading R&D initiatives and implementing technology frameworks in regulated environments
  • Deep understanding of EHR systems and healthcare technology infrastructure
  • Experience in building and scaling technology operations in a global medical device or healthcare technology company
  • Strong background in operational technology leadership with demonstrated strategic planning capabilities
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
