My client and I are looking for a mining engineering professional, to join their global company and lead the team.

Managing contractors and suppliers at the underground site, you will bring your existing experience and knowledge to direct, plan, organise and control the department.

We need a citizen of the USA or Canada to ensure the US electrical regulations are adhered to so unfortunately all other citizens are not able to be considered this time. This required strong background in electrical safety which includes a thorough knowledge of NFPA 70 - National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E - Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, is an absolute must.

You'll also have the exciting responsibly of providing engineering services, including design development, schedule preparation, cost estimation, and material procurement, for all construction related works at Jobsite.

Safety of course is another big focus, so you'll be liaising with Corporate Electrical Engineers and Safety to make sure PTFI complies with all corporate electrical safety policies and technical standards that are applicable to operations.

Experience in planning projects budgets, schedules and cost benefit analysis , alongside analysing and planing engineering design work and resource requirements to balance the demand of large customers.

Training and development, and employee training, is an important factor for this company, so you'll drive this by implementing employee training and development programs, in order to promote technical and professional development for national engineers within the department.
