Summary:

We are working with a growing life sciences company with platform technology aiming to make synthetic cells the gold standard for all cell-based applications. We're seeking an experienced Field Account Manager in Boston/Cambridge area to lead commercialisation efforts for growing Custom projects in synthetic cell technology, manage existing accounts and identify new growth opportunities. The role reports to VP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Connect with key business executives and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities in new prospect accounts.
  • Develop territory and account plans to achieve sales goals.
  • Negotiate sales prices and supply agreements.
  • Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  • Understand customer's needs and requirements and align with our product's features and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years field sales experience in the Boston/Cambridge area in Life Sciences sales.
  • Experience in Reagents and Custom product sales is a must.
  • Experience and network in Pharma and Biotech accounts (ideally in Cell and Gene Therapy).
  • BS in Biology (Ideally immunology, oncology).
  • Understanding of Cell therapy environment, processes and key players in the Geography.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a simple and coherent manner.
  • Experience in Google suite of software and SalesForce CRM.

Additional

  • Knowledge of Flow cytometry usage in Cell therapy processes.
  • Hunter mindset.
  • Previous experience in closing large complex deals with multiple external stakeholders.
