My client is a leader in the biologicals market based in North America. They are an ever-growing company, continually investing in equipment and facilities to keep pace with the customer. They are a company climbing the ranks in their sector and are now looking for a Fertilizer Sales Manager to join their business.

As Fertilizer Sales Manager, you would primarily be responsible for sales, coaching and development of your team with the objective of growing market share and profitability. In addition, would be expected to form strong relations with key account holders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales team development, coaching and providing feedback to help individuals perform to their best ability
  • Business planning and execution
  • Sales team enhancement, continually sourcing new talent for your team
  • Monitor and manage sales
  • Promote product management and key supplier interaction

Ideal Candidate

10 years experience in a sales related position in an agronomy, or animal nutrition related position preferred

Strong product background and knowledge

Strong salesperson who can match pace

Must be able to fit into a up and running team

Ideal candidate would be looking to progress though the company

Education/ experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) and/or equivalent work experience in agriculture, agronomy, animal science, horticulture or related field
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Experience working with biological soil inputs and practices
