CSG Talent is seeking an EWIS Engineer to play a critical role in designing, developing, and ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical wiring systems for our clients advanced electric aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for advanced aircraft.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Perform detailed engineering analysis, including electrical load analysis, wiring routing, and system integration.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including avionics, mechanical, and systems engineers, to integrate EWIS with other aircraft systems.

  • Conduct tests and evaluations of electrical wiring systems to ensure functionality, durability, and safety.

  • Support the certification process for electrical systems and components.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and system layouts.

  • Identify and resolve issues related to wiring interconnections, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in designing and testing Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for aviation or a related industry.

  • Familiarity with relevant aviation standards and certifications (e.g., DO-160, DO-254).

  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar) for creating wiring diagrams and layouts.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
