Exciting Opportunity: Constructio Projects Estimator

A growing client is currently looking for an experienced Estimator responsible for construction projects in Tucson, AZ. Please let me know if this is a good match for you.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Forecast project revenue and costs accurately to align with corporate profitability objectives.
• Collaborate with all Superintendents to create project budgets.
• Lead the estimating process for integrated projects, ensuring consistency and precision from bid to build.
• Coordinate with the project sponsor and construction manager to manage resources and meet project deadlines.
• Participate in bid reviews and project closeouts to ensure bid accuracy, evaluate feasibility, and develop a bid schedule.
• Foster effective communication between Foremen, Superintendents, and construction managers to ensure work is completed efficiently, profitably, and safely.
• Maintain job controls, including quantities, costs, revenue, and schedules.
• Build and sustain relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, corporate management, inspectors, and other stakeholders to develop long-term client partnerships.
• Ensure accurate construction reports are generated to facilitate continuous performance improvements.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of verifiable experience.
• Full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week, with on-call availability for early/late hours to address delays, weather issues, and emergencies.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, including paving, underground, concrete, and grading.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
