An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Project Manager - NJ LSRP to join a leading environmental consulting firm specializing in remediation. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of technical leaders across various environmental disciplines to deliver remediation consulting services to clients in the utilities, industrial, commercial, federal, and state sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex remediation projects, ensuring successful delivery in terms of scope, schedule, and budget, with a focus on risk management and minimizing errors.
- Serve as the primary representative for client interactions, ensuring that project outcomes align with original scope and budget requirements.
- Oversee all phases of project delivery, from planning and design to implementation and closure, while developing creative solutions for new projects.
- Maintain leadership reports and act as a key point of contact for the department.
- Rigorously apply safety policies and procedures and ensure high-quality standards for field efforts and project deliverables in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Communicate effectively with project team members, including clients, regulators, and field personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field, plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) license is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with experience in environmental treatment system design or Professional Geologist (PG) license with remedial design action experience.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records Review.
- Must pass a drug screening and medical screening as conditions of employment.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including conducting and preparing activities and deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Expertise in remediation design, construction, and treatment system operation and maintenance.
- Proven experience in business development and client management.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and local environmental laws, such as CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, etc.
