Engineering Manager (Food Manufacturing)

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Manager to join an exciting team. This role is ideal for individuals with some managerial experience who are eager to grow their leadership skills in a meat manufacturing facility. You will assist in overseeing engineering operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the continuous improvement of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Operations: Assist in managing daily engineering operations to ensure the efficient functioning of equipment and processes within the facility.
• Support Team Development: Work closely with engineering technicians, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitor Compliance: Ensure all engineering practices adhere to safety and regulatory standards specific to the meat processing industry.
• Assist in Project Management: Participate in planning and executing engineering projects, contributing to timeline development and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Support the team in diagnosing and resolving equipment and process-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, compliance checks, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Some experience in an engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices, particularly in meat processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
