Our client is looking for a skilled Embedded BMS Engineer to join their innovative Engineering teams in Tampa Florida.
This role is focused on developing and optimizing Battery Management Systems (BMS), for applications within the low-voltage (sub-60V) domain.
The ideal candidate will excel in embedded systems, control theory and precision design while contributing to the development of advanced energy solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Embedded code development.
- Develop and maintain firmware for BMS using C programming.
- Design and implementation of digital systems for BMS applications.
- Develop schematics and interface with technologies such as VMS cell monitoring solutions, and Texas Instruments (TI).
- Apply control theory principles to detect and respond to system states efficiently.
- Utilize advanced sensor technologies to improve system functionality.
- Work with external suppliers to integrate and map VMS solutions into the system.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
- Experience with analog and digital system design, including schematic development.
- Familiarity with Texas Instruments or similar VMS cell monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of control theory and precision sensor systems.
- Hands-on experience with low-voltage (sub-60V) systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
