About the Role

A prestigious and award-winning interior design studio specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects is seeking a Design Studio Manager to oversee and drive the success of its creative team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring efficient workflow, and delivering exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of 10-12 designers, 5 draftspeople, and 5 visualizers, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects align with the studio's creative vision and high-quality standards.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement and refine studio workflows to optimize design output, resource allocation, and project timelines.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, understanding their vision and translating it into well-executed designs.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of design excellence, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and materiality.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Strategic Development: Support the leadership team in refining the studio's growth strategy, identifying new opportunities, and driving innovation.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a luxury or high-end design studio.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-end residential and commercial interior design, including materials, craftsmanship, and project execution.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage creative teams while maintaining a positive studio culture.
• Project Management: Experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to navigate project challenges and drive solutions.
