Business Development Manager

Sydney Based

CSG Talent has an opportunity for a salesperson with a background in chemical distribution, to focus on managing existing sales of chemical compound products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business and manage existing accounts.
  • Main focus to be on the Construction and Polymer customers located across ANZ
  • New business development - cross selling and onboarding new customers/product lines
  • Identify and assess new principals to close portfolio gaps with regional distribution services.
  • Regularly visit customers and potential customers with the sales team to develop strong relationships.
  • Manage all customer interactions for the distribution business.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Sales experience within chemical compounds, with a preference in coatings and/or polymers.
  • Having a strong network within the construction sector is highly regarded.
  • Thorough understanding of the chemical distribution market in ANZ.
  • Proven in identifying and progressing new business opportunities. Ability to drive business and negotiate.
  • Excellent level of planning, development and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
  • Degree in science, chemistry or engineering is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as/when required.
