ROLE

As the Business Development Manager, you will be the key driver in securing new business with architects and driving sales with builders and contractors. This role demands a highly driven, entrepreneurial individual who is a go-getter, ready to take initiative and push boundaries. You will nurture projects from concept to reality, ensuring a solid project pipeline for commercial projects.

DUTIES

• Secure commercial projects with architects and designers for commercial projects.
• Defend specifications and drive sales with major builders and contractors.
• Network effectively with architects, designers, contractors, and builders to forge strong relationships.
• Plan, prepare, and conduct CPD presentations to architects & designers.
• Provide and update sample books within architect practices.
• Build, develop, and grow a strong project pipeline of specifications.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Business Development Manager / Specification within the building and construction product industry.
• Highly driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a go-getter attitude.
• A genuine passion for design and architecture.
• Natural ability to open doors/opportunities with architects, designers, builders, and contractors.
• Must be a self-starter, strategic, organized, and methodical.
