Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell our comprehensive suite of genomics bioinformatics services, including software development, pipeline development, algorithm development, data curation, and assay development services.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, including pharma, biotech, device, and diagnostics companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Prospect leads energetically through social media engagement and conference participation.
- Summarize conversations with potential clients clearly and in detail for internal teams to craft proposals.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals.
- Delicately yet persistently chase deals to closing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in genomics, bioinformatics, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of genomics and bioinformatics applications in clinical and research settings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to quickly understand customer requirements and summarize conversations for internal teams.
- Energetic and proactive approach to prospecting leads and generating opportunities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
