Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Manager to join our team in Charlotte NC. This role is crucial in overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows, ensuring alignment with firm directives and client standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in BIM practices, software proficiency, and strong leadership to support project teams and enhance efficiency in design and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the development, approval, and organization of BIM content in accordance with firm directives and client standards.
Create and modify templates and families to improve project efficiency.
Conduct clash detection analysis and generate associated reports to resolve design conflicts.
Set up and coordinate Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/BIM360 environments for project teams.
Develop best practices and guidelines to standardize BIM processes within the firm.
Assist team members with troubleshooting BIM-related issues and provide technical support.
Streamline and enhance the rendering output process using Revit and Enscape.
Research and implement innovative tools and processes to improve BIM workflows.
Provide periodic training sessions for individuals and groups to ensure continuous learning and adoption of BIM standards.
Support project-specific production and drafting as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associate Degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Technology (or related field).
Strong knowledge of BIM practices, standards, and techniques applicable to the AEC industry.
Proficiency in Autodesk AEC Collection software, including Revit, ACC/BIM360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and visualization applications such as Enscape.
Familiarity with architectural and engineering construction documents and the design process.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
A minimum of 3-6 years of professional experience in a BIM-related role.
