Our client is a leading provider of technical solutions across the Federal landscape, with successful customer relationships with some of the world's leading agencies in both public and private sectors Since 2008. They have been a leading technology provider to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and have been awarded a Prime position on the next generation of VA's core OIT vehicle, T4NG2.

The VA Strategy and Business Development Exec will be responsible for growing the VA market portfolio with a heavy emphasis on information technology solutions. They will leverage understanding of the government and commercial technology markets, and customer needs to plan and execute growth activities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work within the account team to collaboratively develop capture strategies, client and industry call plans and competitive analysis. They will identify and document win themes, technical approach and price to win strategy. They will facilitate and create solution strategies for opportunities leveraging expertise of the Business Development, technical centers of excellence and delivery teams. They will lead and contribute to demos, proposals, presentations, and other customer-facing artifacts.

Remote Locations: DC Metro Area, Red Bank NJ, Tampa FL, and Austin TX

Salary Range: $200,000-$300,000 plus annual incentive eligibility

Required Skills:

* 10+ years of experience in VA IT

* Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business (>=$100M contracts) at Department of Veterans Affairs using consultative and collaborative multi-discipline team approach.

* Demonstrated record of VA senior executive leader engagement and relationships

* US Citizenship is required

* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Deep understanding of Federal technology trends with the ability to drive positive change following industry perspective via the latest technology solutions in priority VA programs

* Proven track record of collaborating with technology vendors and partners to close business.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high growth environment.
