Job Title: Architectural Healthcare Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Healthcare Project Manager to lead and manage healthcare projects from concept to completion. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee project teams, collaborate with clients, and ensure successful project delivery across public, private, or federal healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have expertise in healthcare architecture, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to balance both leadership and hands-on production responsibilities when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead healthcare architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client goals, project schedules, and budgets.

  • Serve as the primary client-facing representative, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Direct multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and consultants.

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, administrators, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with healthcare design standards and codes.

  • Oversee all project phases, including programming, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration.

  • Lead project meetings, presentations, and reviews with clients and stakeholders.

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to project team members.

  • Engage in hands-on production work, including design, drafting, and detailing, as needed.

  • Manage project financials, schedules, and resources to maintain profitability and efficiency.

  • Stay up to date with healthcare design trends, building codes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in healthcare architecture with a focus on public, private, or federal healthcare projects.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare facility planning, regulations, and compliance (e.g., FGI Guidelines, ADA, HIPAA, and other applicable codes).

  • Proven leadership experience, managing projects, teams, and client relationships.

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard software.

  • Ability to communicate complex design ideas effectively to clients, team members, and stakeholders.

  • Licensed architect preferred but not required.

  • Rhino experience plus not required
  • Can have interiors background but leading core and shell projects
