We are please to be working with one of the world's leading manufacturers of dynamic storage, retrieval and distribution systems. With more than 2,000 employees worldwide, our client develops and manufactures logistics solutions that are used in industrial manufacturing as well as in trade and administration.

At their location in Rülzheim (near Karlsruhe) we are looking for a dedicated software tester (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

  • Participation in the further development of our globally used warehouse management system and customer-specific solutions
  • Early involvement in the software development life cycle by analyzing requirements documents and user stories and uncovering potential risks
  • Creation and maintenance of test charters in our test management tool TestRail
  • Definition of test cases for end-to-end test automation as well as execution of regression and development-related tests on real machines if necessary
  • Gathering domain expertise through occasional customer visits and conversations with UX designers and software consultants
  • Active participation in the continuous improvement of product quality and your own environment


Your profile:

  • Experience through technical studies, IT training or several years of work in software testing
  • Knowledge of software development and enjoy exploratory testing
  • Interest in new technologies such as web technologies, cloud infrastructures, networks and databases (SQL, Oracle)
  • Experience with agile tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, support each other and exchange knowledge
  • Knowledge of German at least at level B2 enables fluent communication.
