About the role

The Senior Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring a highly capable team. You will play a key role in leading the safety, productivity and efficiency of the new warehousing and distribution centre whilst managing complexity and providing superior service to your customers. The new manufacturing plant has been designed for continual expansion over the next few years introducing new products and manufacturing lines which creates exciting opportunities for you to influence growth and have key strategic input.

Skills and experience

You will have gained relevant leadership experience in supply chain, warehousing and logistics within the FMCG, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors. Furthermore, exposure to managing order fulfilment in a frozen or chilled distribution centre to deliver to the DC's of large retail customers Possessing high energy levels, you have a track record of developing and delivering efficient logistics networks whilst constantly mentoring and driving change, continuous improvement and safety best practice with your teams. You are well regarded for having an inclusive leadership style and you have experience managing through constant change in a fast-paced environment.
